X-Games stunt and rally driver Ken Block from the Rally Team USA has taken his Subaru Impreza WRX STi to another level. This rally monster has been finely tuned by Crawford performance, specially customized to turn this into a gymkhana monster.
This 530HP Impreza is dressed with the same Prodrive aerokit as the Subaru S12 rally car. It is standing on 285/30/18s with 10.5inch wide rims and still drifts! As you can see it oversteers a lot more than a stock Impreza. Of course this is done on purpose to help with the tight turns involved in gymkhana, basically to make it more tailhappy.
The way they have set up this gymkhana is bigger than most gymkhana's. Normally it is on a parking lot with cones but Ken Block has, with the help of Tanner Faust, gone to new heights on an old landing strip somewhere in California.
Ken Block is a successful rally driver that started his career in 2005. Finishing that season as rookie of the year for the American rally he has been climbing his way to the top ever since.
