Drifting Crash
A drifting crash from Keiichi Tsuchiya!

The great drift king Keiichi Tsuchiya shows that even monkeys fall from trees. He’s drifting this Nissan Silvia S15 tuned by HKS and suddenly crashes into the ditch! I bet those guys at HKS are feeling worse than ever for giving the keys of their precious S15 to Tsuchiya!
You can see that just before Tsuchiya is crossing the last corner the right front tire comes into contact with the rumble strip, upsetting the lateral balance. The contact causes abrupt weight shifts from left to right and makes the rear tires regain grip. The rest of the story is not a pretty picture, lots of damage, but it could always be worse.
This is a perfect example to see the difficulty of a jump drift. Tsuchiya is not exactly doing a jump drift here, where you are using the rear tires of course, but you can see that you still have to be a good driver to catch an abrupt weight shift caused by a rumble strip.
